TGI Fridays #BurgerBlindDate!

Yesterday, my life changed for the better when I met the love of my life. I had never been on a blind date before but alas, it finally happened. As fate would have it, I was on a blind date with a burger, oh yes; one hell of a sexy one at that! After receiving the most creative email ever from the lovely people at TGI Fridays inviting me to attend and experience the world of blind dating (Thank you), I'm sure glad I went. You even get to see my not so amazing burger face, if you haven't seen it already on TGI Fridays' twitter page (@TGIFridaysUK), at the end of this post so stay tuned. I had a great time, was stuffed to the max; I'm not even quite sure whether I walked or was wheeled out of there.

Outfit wise, I went for something quite simple. Summer is in full swing and it is boiling hot out there, it's always great to don a bit of lace as it keeps you nice and cool. Teaming this little lace number with a pair of H&M shorts, it was all about comfortability. I'm a sucker for pointed-toe shoes of any kind lately, it was only inevitable that I would purchase these nude coloured beauts as soon as I laid eyes on them. Loose clothing has become the centre of my world lately, everyone needs a bit of room to just breathe.

Anyway, back to the blind date. As soon my plus one and I arrived at TGI Fridays, we were greeted and escorted to the bar where we had a pick of any drins we liked. The bar staff were very friendly and discussed different fruits, drinks and spirits in order to design a drink perfect for us. I fell in love with the Strawberry Fields Mocktail, the flavour is just insane and my plus one opted for a Passionfruit Mocktail. After the mocktail make-out session, we were shown to our table where the night was explained and how the blind date would work. 

 

 

You want to talk about a menu, how about this for a menu! These burgers have better pulling lines than most guys I know; could learn a thing or two. I chose contenstant #3, I mean who wouldn't fall for the line "Two of me, one of you. Who says three is a crowd?! He's a fiesty one. I can safely say that I willbe going back for some back room action action with him very soon.The burger came with fries and a delicious sauce. What's not to like?

There's only one way to finish off such an 'adventurous meal, desert in the form of Chocolate Fudge Fixation served warm with vanilla ice cream. Just thinking about it makes me drool! Oh TGI Fridays you sure know how to treat a girl. It was quite the experience and I'm ever so grateful for the invite. Oh, one more thing.... you can experience the blind date too by popping into your nearest TGI Fridays for a meal and telling your waitress, "I'll have what Jack's having.." Your very own burger blind date. You won't regret it so pluck up some courage and take the plunge.

Now prepare yourself for the most humiliating burger face ever..
