Surely I can't be the only one who absolutely adores Steak? Don't you even try to deny it. I'm more of a Rump steak kind of girl which is why I've turned good ol' plain Saturdays into #SteakSaturdays! That's right, instead of spending a fair amount of money by heading out to a lavish restaurant; I'd much rather head out to the supermarket and purchase all the ingredients I need to cook up a delightful Steak dinner. A fresh, quick homemade side salad is not a bad idea either; you will never need a recipe for a salad.
Grab some of your favourite leaves (lettuce, kale, spinach etc; take
your pick), chuck them in a bowl; add some carrots, cucumber, tomatoes
and some dressing. Although; don't be tempted to just end here; feel
free to wild; I have seen some unconventional salads in my time but I
think I'll just stick to simple ones. I love salad and just about
everything I eat is accompanied by it; after all it has relevant
nutritional value.
This is such a quick meal to make; rice takes approximately 20 minutes to cook, steak takes 3 minutes to fry and red onions only about 2 minutes if you want them crispy and golden brown. This salad took me less than 5 minutes to make; I mean it is perfectly possible to have all these things on the go all at one. Multitasking is the new IT thing!

It doesn't take much to prepare a perfectly delicious and nutritious meal; who says you always have to eat out?!
