Coffee#1, Cardiff Bosco Cheesecake Review

A creamy berry-topped showstopper that is sure to make your taste buds tingle with just one bite; mine sure did. This has to be one of the best tasting cheesecakes I've ever had; apart from my very own homemade cheesecakes of course. Earlier today, I found myself sat in Coffee#1 (Albany road, Cardiff) sipping on a deliciously creamy Latte and munching on this scrumptious Cheesecake! I rarely ever eat out as I prefer to prepare my own food but the weather was so beautiful I had to take advantage.
I'd like to think I'm one of those people who either love it or hate it, there's no in-between. I know what I like especially when it comes to food. Anyway, this ubiquitous cafe is really something to be celebrated as it is Cardiff born, with its very first store opening on Wood Street, Cardiff back in 2001. I just  adore the décor which seems to have literary theme to it. Coffee#1 is super quirky with its big leather library chairs, deep mahogany tables and uber cute chandeliers. They even have some amazing quotes from writers such as T.S. Elliott, Dylan Thomas and Oscar Wilde painted around the walls. Best of all, they serve very well crafted coffees that taste so rich you will keep going back for more.

Coffee#1 makes a great alternative to Starbucks or Cafe Nero which tend to be very repetitive. Soothing music or a few magazines are all you need; after all you are surrounded by polite staff, tasteful décor and a great atmosphere.The only thing that could make this beautiful cafe even better is a few chilled out tracks played on loop; bliss!

 

This is such a gorgeous place to kill time. Thanks to my Barista, that one shot Latte was absolutely divine!
