Take me back! If you're looking for a nice little get away this summer, look no further because Amsterdam is where you should be headed. With it's vast history and art, beautiful canal cruises, outstanding architecture and great food, this is one place that should be visited at least once in a lifetime. As easy as it is to pack up and be on your way for a well-deserved break, finding the perfect place to stay can be tricky. And we all know a bit of luxury goes a long way. There are four Hilton Hotels to choose from in Amsterdam and I've had a really good read about all of them. However, the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Amsterdam Centraal station is right up my street. It is close to main tourist attractions which is perfect for exploring and you get that authentic, local buzz. And that's not even the best part, staying in a great hotel such as this in such a beautiful city doesn't have to cost a pretty penny this summer, save up to 15% on your stay in their summer sale.
The hotel also has a SkyLounge, themed nights and live music, not forgetting that it is very tech driven. If you're feeling ambitious and have a few days on your hands, why not jump on a train and do some more site seeing. After all, the hotel is located 3 minuted from Centraal station; there are other modes of transport available nearby too. Starbucks is never a bad idea, am I right? Well you'll be glad to know that there is a Starbucks on site.

Bike riding is extremely popular in Amsterdam and is a great way to see the city. If you're up for it, why not rent a bike and go food tasting. I know that is what I would do.
