Simple Pork Pasta

There's nothing quite like a nice bowl of pasta after a long day at work. It doesn't have to be complicated, keep it simple and nutritious. This is an easy and quick dish to whip up, all you need is a few basic ingredients and 25 minutes. Lets get right to it. 


Cooking time: 25 mins
Serves: 2

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup wholewheat pasta

2 pork loin steaks, cut into small pieces

1 tbs olive oil

Green, yellow and red bell peppers, chopped

A few cherry tomatoes, halved

Spring onions, chopped

1/2 tsp mixed herbs

Garlic powder

Salt & pepper to taste



METHOD:


Boil pasta according to packet instructions and set aside.

In a medium sized pan, heat up oil and fry pork loin steaks for about 10-15 mins on medium heat, until golden brown.

Add onions, bell peppers and cherry tomatoes, mix. Season with mixed herbs, garlic powder black pepper and salt then gently fold in pasta.

Lower heat and mix until pasta is coated. Simmer for 3-4 mins. Dish up and eat up.
