There are no perks to being a wallflower!

I could get used to this; clear blue skies, soft cool breeze and sunshine! Who needs material goods for a distraction when you've got the sun? I do. I am rather poorly as I have a terrible cold; runny nose, never-ending headache, a thousand sneezes per minute, stuffy throat.. you name it, I got it! I just had to blog today as its been two days since my last post; so I've tried to look 'okay' in these photos (I feel horrendous). When I came across this beautiful Vintage dress I fell in love with it instantaneously; it reminds me of 50s sailor dresses. Of course, I went ahead and purchased the dress without hesitation; the gold button detailing is what won me over. It is a year old but I'm only now making its grand debut, wearing it for the first time.

To avoid diverting attention away from the dress, I refrained from jazzing it up with fun accents. I added a vintage belt with the dress to add some character to my look and you can't go wrong with adding big gold studs topping it all off with some cute sandals and small bag. It's been really nice and sunny the past couple of days, even warmer today. Let's hope this fine weather stays.
