State of mind!

Having mentioned this dress in my recent Haul post, I just couldn't wait to wear it. Making its grand debut on this fine fine day; I'm back to donning bright, psychedelic prints in full force, still trying to relish the simple yet demented things in life. As much as I try to shy away from 'quick fix' outfits, today I'm letting the dress do all the talking. This particular get-up features a palette of deep blues, purples, greens etc. I could list them all but I'll save you the hustle of reading my never ending paragraphs whilst secretly hoping that you actually enjoy reading them. I've already become progressively dependent on Mr Sun; running around in cute dresses, eating a whole lot of junk and hanging out with the girls lazily sashaying through town, I do hope he'll stick around for a while.

 

Before we go any further, let me just make this point.. this dress does absolutely nothing for a woman's body! But I love this dress so much, I had to have it. It has beautiful detailing, gorgeous print but it's just one of those dresses that are just straight and 'there'. My solution was simple, I wore a thin belt with the dress to enhance my shape and add that little bit more character to it. A pair of John Lennon style sunnies and flatforms later, I'm going for uptown chic with a hint of 90s grunge.
