Prints, Stripes & Bowties!

H&M Blazer / Primark Shirt / Self-made Bowtie / Self-made Skirt / New Look Bag /
New Look Strappy Sandals.

And minimalism has once again found a way to creep back and take over! Not quite sure why I'm getting rather fond of minimalistic looks. Could it be because I don't really have to put too much thought into them, old age or maybe because of the simple fact that I get to wear less clothes whilst maintaining my dignity and decency. Either way, I have eliminated that 'what to wear' worry, not leaving behind my love for bright colours and prints, trying to relish the simple things in life. A toast to my conscious effort to shy away from 'overly-planned' outfits, still abiding to my demented ways.

For as long as I can remember, I've always loved bowties only this year this so called 'love' reached a whole new level. Having made this polkadot bowtie back in February, it most definitely is the quirkiest accessory ever. Pairing up this Primark shirt with a skirt that I made from a dress, its all about minimalism at its best with a hint playful. The weather's getting cooler because Mr Sun has left us but no worries, it's the perfect time to dig out all those amazing blazers. Finishing off today's look with a pair of strappy heels and a simple but efficient black bag, I'm wailing out before I'm late for work. Those mannequins won't dress themselves.
** In other news, I am in TRUE LOVE MAGAZINE SOUTH AFRICA, September 2013 issue which is pretty amazing early birthday present. Here is a photo of my feature:

Have a wonderful day!
