Behind the scenes with JD Sports: "Be the face of JD" Casting London!

Internacionale Turban / H&M Kimono / Missguided.co.uk Floral Print Jumpsuit / H&M Boots.

After what I'd call a majorly jam-packed weekend in London, it feels great to be back home in Wales. What made my weekend even better was hanging out with JD Sports at their "Be the face of JD" final casting; one word to describe it.. INSANE! There was so much going on, from break dancing to some of the most impossible flips I've ever seen but we'll get into that properly after some outfit banter. Having received this amazing jumpsuit as a Christmas gift back in December, I finally wore it and it was about time too as I have a tendency of letting all my new clothes collect dust. Surely I deserve to be sanctioned for neglect! Teaming it up with yet another new addition to my wardrobe, this beautiful kimono which I purchased from H&M for just £5.99, it was all about simplicity with a vintage feel. As comfortability was the order of the day, it was only right to be decked out in a pair of flat boots.

JD Sports is a leading sports fashion retailer and were on the hunt for some new faces to appear in their nationwide campaigns; basically being the face of JD. Thousands entered as this is such a great opportunity which can open a lot of doors for aspiring models. When I got to the venue, I was met by some of the JD Sports staff who were ever so nice(Thank you). Talk about feeling like a celebrity after being snuck into the venue through some side doors, inside was most definitely a sight for sore eyes. It was like being in a 'buzzing' night club, lounge and photo studio all in one; the atmosphere was amazing. There were lot of cheery faces floating around and some serious street style too. Quite a lot of people were already inside but you wouldn't have assumed that because the queue outside seemed to just get longer by the minute. Don't get your knickers in a twist, no one was left out; every single person was seen.

When the contestants first walked in, they had to complete a survey and then they would move on to having some photos taken. Every single person who attended this casting walked away with a goody bag which I think is such an amazing gesture. I was also interviewed by JD Sports(photo below) on the power of social media which was brilliant. Oh and did I mention that I filmed some of the performances so I'll be sure to upload them onto my Youtube soon. I had such an amazing time, thank you JD Sports for having me and I look forward to seeing who the winners are.
