Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day but that doesn't mean it should be complicated. Sometimes waffles are just what you need; they are actually a personal favourite of mine. Okay, so waffles made from white flour are not the best because the flour has very little nutritional value but I thought it would be a nice treat today now that I have a few days off work. In order for you to be able to have waffles for breakfast regularly; the use of Whole-wheat flour instead would be highly beneficial.
Waffles are usually made of flour, eggs, milk, oil and salt. If you'd like to have waffles for breakfast regularly, make them with whole grains and avoid adding oil. Berries and Greek Yoghurt can only add to the nutritional value. Enjoy!
I always have mine with greek yoghurt and strawberries plus green tea; everything tastes better when you know it's healthy!
